Chiapas Media Project LIVING JUAREZ Tour with Laura Carlsen
Since March 2008, close to 7,000 people have died in Cuidad Juarez. There are now an estimated 10,000 security forces patrolling the streets of Juarez where violence continues to escalate. “Living Juarez” tells the story of the real victims in Calderon’s Drug War — regular people just trying to survive in a city over run by senseless violence and corruption. A discussion by Laura Carlsen will follow the documentary. For more information, please contact Leslie Cecil at (936) 468-3980 or cecillg@sfasu.edu.
