Tim Curry, a 2007 graduate from Elysian Fields High School, is joining the roster as quarterback for the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks majoring in Multidisciplinary Studies.
He is a transfer from the University of Texas as El Paso where he was the second string quarterback last year.
Tim red-shirted in 2008 and was ranked the 62nd quarterback in the country in 2007.
His senior year at Elysian Fields he threw passes for 52% completion, nearly 1600 yards, and 22 touchdowns. He will still have three years of eligible playing for the Lumberjacks.
Curry stands at 6’4” and weighs 210 lbs. He also saw playing time as safety and wide receiver in high school. Curry also was a member of the baseball, basketball, and track teams in high school and a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
